Mechanical Engineers
Lizardos is the largest Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering firm on Long Island. For over 40 years we have provided our clients with superior design and service on every project. For this reason over 90% of our work is for repeat clients. Lizardos prides itself on not only attracting but retaining the most talented professionals in the metropolitan area.
The secret to our success is simple. We are not cookbook engineers. Our projects are interesting, varied and challenging. Our staff has the knowledge and talent to design outside the box, and we offer weekly in-house lunch and learn sessions to keep them up to date on equipment and solutions.
Our Mineola (Western Nassau) location is convenient by car or by Long Island Railroad. We are minutes from the LIE, Northern State, and Meadowbrook Parkways and a 3-minute walk to the Long Island Railroad Mineola station. Our office has a six-story parking garage with enclosed access directly into the building.
Lizardos provides each employee with a comprehensive benefits package for healthcare insurance, dental insurance, vision care, 401k retirement plan, vacation and holidays, in-house training sessions and tuition assistance.
